Fun Fact: In 1572 according to Dutch legend, while Prince William the Silent was sleeping in his tent, Spanish assassins lurked outside but was saved by his pug, Pompey, who barked wildly and jumped on his face, waking him up. The pug was then considered the official dog of the House of Orange.
