The number of atoms in one gram of hydrogen is roughly equal the the number of grains of sand on 80,000 earths. (6.02x10^23) / (7.5x10^18) Even if estimate off by 100 fold, still would need a thousand more earth worth of sand to equal number of atoms in a small balloon.
